SAGE and RJE Global join forces to expand their International footprint

The two Adelaide headquartered businesses have joined forces to travel all the way to the remote Mongolian desert! Thanks to a connection they formed at South Australian Leaders.

Dean Cook (of RJE) and Andrew Downs (of SAGE Automation) recently visited the capital of Ulaanbaatar to discuss providing training opportunities for Mongolian workers. SAGE Automation’s Tonsley-based training arm - Skills Lab - currently provides automation training services to university students in the Indian cities of Pune and Mumbai and he hopes to expand this to Mongolia to help up-skill workers for RJE Mongolia and at the Oyu Tolgoi mine site.(Pictured).

Mr Cook, whose organisation exports heavy industry construction equipment to Mongolia, and Mr Downs connected at SA Leaders. Mr Cook said: “we discovered how our current business in Mongolia and commitment to upskilling the national Mongolian workforce could open a door to introduce SAGE’s training arm to the country”. RJE’s Mongolian partners value their expertise and ability to bring world class skills. SAGE helps educate and better the local employees, which is crucial. He also praised the support of EFIC, a specialist financier that delivers simple and creative solutions for Australian companies to help them win business, grow internationally and achieve export success
