Guest Speaker:

We are thrilled to announce Melody Horrill as our guest speaker.As a renowned journalist, former TV presenter, and media/communications manager, Melody has captivated audiences worldwide with the power of her words. In her latest memoir, "A Dolphin Called Jock," she shares a profound story of courage, trust, and love, highlighting how her life was transformed through an extraordinary bond with a wild dolphin named Jock in Adelaide's Port River. This connection brought solace, healing, and liberation from the shadows of her past.

Special Interview:

Interviewed by Ali Clarke. Amanda Blair will share valuable insights into embracing passions, vulnerability, collaborating and ageing. For many years Amanda was a broadcaster, and is now a Women's Weekly columnist, philanthropist and mother of 5. She's held several board positions, both Government and NFP and got sick of all the rules and governance requirements, sp she formed her own NFP in 2013 - Dulcie's Bus.  She's won numerous media and fundraising awards, but her proudest achievement is winning a Blue Ribbon at the Royal Adelaide Show in 'slices 3 varieties, baked or unbaked'.  Amanda holds nothing back - ever - so this will be an interesting conversation indeed.  * language warning ! 

Join us in welcoming the renowned radio personality, Ali Clarke, to MC our event for the third year running! With a wealth of experience in breakfast show hours and a strong connection to Adelaide's radio scene, Ali's presence will undoubtedly bring energy and enthusiasm to the occasion. Her career includes previous stints at Mix102.3, Triple M, ABC Radio and FIVEaa, making her a familiar and beloved voice in the community.

We're thrilled to present Jacqui Lim and Kat Caton from the Sonic Divas. Feel it now, the soulful energy of Aretha Franklin, the empowering vibes of Helen Reddy, the unstoppable groove of Gloria Gaynor, and even a sprinkle of Madonna magic – all wrapped up in a foot-tapping, heartwarming acoustic performance that celebrates empowerment. These talented ladies are not just entertaining, but they bring their own special brand of humor to the stage, ensuring laughter, fun and inspiration.

Pre-luncheon Workshop:

Before the luncheon, opt in transformative  workshop 'Empowering Women's Leadership Journey'. Led by Christine Molitor, CEO of Be Sustained, this workshop will focus on empowering women and embracing feminine leadership power. Guests will delve into the depths of self-discovery and growth, learning essential skills to curb your inner critic, build compassionate self-talk, and cultivate self-love. (Please note limited places).

Dulcie's Bus

Australia's first op-shop bus will be parked out the front of The Sanctuary for your shopping pleasure. 

Dulcie’s Bus was formed in 2013 by Amanda Blair with assistance from her long time collaborator and friend Monique Bowley. Both women were driven by a desire to indulge their passion for vintage and secondhand clothing, reduce landfill and raise much needed funds for Hutt Street Centre and Centacare.
